This website, gittechristensen.rip, is a memorial page in remembrance of Gitte Christensen (1953–2026). It is hosted and maintained by Dyalog Ltd, who created it on behalf of the family.

We want to keep this page simple and respectful of the people who visit it. That includes being open about the very small amount of information the website handles.

What information we collect

This site does not use analytics, advertising, social media trackers, or any third-party services that profile visitors. Specifically:

– We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking tools.
– We do not embed third-party videos, social feeds, or fonts loaded from external services. The fonts used by the site are served from our own server.
– We do not set any advertising or tracking cookies.

The only information that is recorded automatically is what every web server records as a normal part of operating: your device’s IP address, the page you requested, the date and time of the request, and basic technical information sent by your browser (such as its type and language). These server logs are kept only for the limited period necessary to keep the site running securely and to investigate technical problems or abuse. They are not used to identify or profile visitors.

The site also stores a single small preference in your browser’s local storage (`i18nextLng`) so that, if the site is ever shown in more than one language, your preferred language is remembered between visits. This preference stays on your own device and is not sent to us.
